Message from the President: 

Greetings from the new BAC Local 1 of Washington and Alaska. My name is Matthew Bilyeu, I have been a member for 15 years working with many of you in the field. It is a privilege to lead this Local Union as we begin a new chapter in the history of BAC for Western Washington and Alaska.

Western States Apprenticeship Contest

2019 BAC Western States Apprenticeship Contest
June 22nd, 2019 - Honolulu, Hawaii

Western Washington Apprenticeship Contest

This past weekend on April 13th, over a hundred people came to show support for the 34 apprentices that competed in Western Washington Masonry Trade’s annual apprenticeship contest. The contest highlighted the hard work and dedication of the apprentices and training center staff showing off the crafts represented by BAC.

Advanced Certification for Tile Installers

As the tile industry strives to maintain quality and high standards, more job sites will start to require setters to have the ACT. Western Washington Masonry Trades will be hosting the introductory class to the ACT program taught by IMTEF Regional Training Director Lupe Ortiz.

If you would like to participate in this class, it will be held on Saturday May 18th from 7:00am to 12:00pm. Please contact Lowell Glodowski to register at 206-768-8333.
