Minimum Qualifications:

-          Candidates are to be members in good standing with Local 1 WA/AK

-          Have an outgoing personality, and ability to talk to strangers of all walks of life

-          Be able to commit to working 50-60 hours per week including evenings and weekends

-          Be computer literate, with intermediate to advanced skills a plus

-          Have a valid driver’s license

-          Good organizational skills, record keeping, and being able to work independently

Job Responsibilities include:

-          Continuously foster new relationships with workers and contractors who work non-union

-          Schedule and implement jobsite visits throughout Western Washington

-          Participate in Organizing Campaigns

-          Mobilize membership around issues that affect our industry

-          Monitor policies and conditions on jobsites

-          Field member’s concerns and ensure contract compliance

Compensation: Salaried at $87k per year plus benefits
