The 2023 Bricklayer500 Regional Competition was held at Midwest Brick & Block on Saturday, September 16.  As has been customary, every team competing was a Union Member employed by one of our Bricklayers Local 1 of Missouri Signatory Contractors.




We are excited to announce the First Place winning team *and* the Top Craftsman award at the 2023 Bricklayer500 Regional Contest are Local 1 MO Journeyman Bricklayer Rudy Menke, and his Mason Tender Steve Braswell, employed by Local 1 Signatory Contractor John Smith Masonry. They will be advancing on to the National Championships in Las Vegas in January 2024.

On Thursday, February 3, 2023, the ADC Officers were joined by our late Pension Director Gary Juenger's family to present scholarship awards to our first group of recipients.  Each applicant submitted an essay along with their application paperwork for the Officers to review, and each applicant beautifully described what their parent's Membership in this Union has provided their family. 

The ADC recently launched Online Dues Payments through the Member Portal.

As long as you're signed up and logged into your Portal, you can select the Dues Payment tab, and proceed with making a Credit or Debit Card Payment. 

From there you can choose how many months you wish to pay...

The ADC's PAC Fund Golf Tournament was held on a beautiful day, Saturday, June 24th, at Sugar Creek Golf Course in High Ridge, Missouri.  It is a great turnout, and a great time was had by all, even when the temperatures soared! 

We recently hosted our Retirees for the Summer Luncheon, and as is customary at this event, presented our newest Life Members with their Gold Cards and Watches.  This year was the largest group of Life Members to date.  Shown below are those Gold Card recipients who were able to attend the Luncheon receiving their Gold Cards from Retired ADC Director Don Brown, as well as the group of Gold Card recipients with our Officers, current and retired.
