Local 1 Holiday Awards Banquet

On June 12, 2020 the Election Committee counted the initial vote and nominations for sending delgates to the IU Convention later this year. The Management Committee's recommendation of sending 8 delegates and 0 alternates to the convention passed with 62% voting YES and 38% voting NO. The nominees are as follows:

The PRO Act has passed the house of representatives with overwhelming support. Thank you to everyone that did their part and made their voice heard.

For too long, workers have been punished for coming together to form a union - their legal right in this country. Our labor laws desperately need to change. Click the link below and tell Congress to pass the PRO Act now and respect workers’ freedom to organize.

The first semi-annual Union meeting under the new Local has been scheduled for March 14th 2020. Doors will open and check-in begins at 11:00am. Any member wishing to have their membership card stamped up to date may bring it with them to have done.
