This past weekend on April 13th, over a hundred people came to show support for the 34 apprentices that competed in Western Washington Masonry Trade’s annual apprenticeship contest. The contest highlighted the hard work and dedication of the apprentices and training center staff showing off the crafts represented by BAC.

With each apprentice bringing the knowledge and skills they have learned both in class and on the job, the craftsmanship of each trade really stood out. It was a great day to observe how strong the future will be with these great apprentices coming through our ranks.

The top qualified contestants will be going on to the Western States contest that will be held in Hawaii at the end of June. We wish them well, and want to thank all of the volunteers, contractors, suppliers, and staff that came together to make this event possible.
