Job Title: PCC Instructor

Overview:

The Western Washington Masonry Trades (WWMT) Training Program is seeking a part-time instructor for its apprenticeship program at 6737 Corson Avenue South, Building "D," Seattle, WA 98108. This part-time position offers the potential to transition to full-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct apprentices in both classroom and shop settings.
  • Prepare apprentices for all aspects of the PCC trade.
  • Develop, implement, and grade lessons, homework, and tests.
  • Provide upgrade training for apprentices.
  • Monitor and document apprentice progress, including training and work hours.
  • Collaborate with JATC members, vendors, contractors, and field representatives using Engage and ARTS platforms.
  • Visit job sites and participate in meetings, career days, and ongoing instructor training.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the PCC trade.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, and effective problem-solving abilities.
