Job Title: PCC Instructor
Overview:
The Western Washington Masonry Trades (WWMT) Training Program is seeking a part-time instructor for its apprenticeship program at 6737 Corson Avenue South, Building "D," Seattle, WA 98108. This part-time position offers the potential to transition to full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct apprentices in both classroom and shop settings.
- Prepare apprentices for all aspects of the PCC trade.
- Develop, implement, and grade lessons, homework, and tests.
- Provide upgrade training for apprentices.
- Monitor and document apprentice progress, including training and work hours.
- Collaborate with JATC members, vendors, contractors, and field representatives using Engage and ARTS platforms.
- Visit job sites and participate in meetings, career days, and ongoing instructor training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the PCC trade.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, and effective problem-solving abilities.
