The Western Washington Masonry Trades(WWMT) Apprenticeship Program consists of the following:

  • *On-the-job training
  • *Hands-on training
  • *A minimum of 160 hours per year of classroom and workshop education
  • *Basic math instruction
  • *Instruction on reading construction documents
  • *Education of different masonry materials and related components

BENEFITS: 

  • *Wages - Apprentices start at $27/hr+ and have a schedule of built in wage increases until you have completed the program and become a journeyperson
  • *Healthcare - Comprehensive health coverage that starts soon after you are on the job
  • *Pension - From your first hour, your employer will be paying into pension plans that will secure your future.
  • *VA Eligibility - Qualifying Veterans may use their GI Bill benefits in coordination with the Western Washington Masonry Trades Apprenticeship Program.

Minimum Qualifications: 18+ years of age, High school graduate or GED equivalent, Physically able to perform the work of the trade and work at high elevations, Social Securtiy card or I-9 documentation, and pass a drug test.
