COVID-19 has effected us all, and we understand that full effect of this shutdown is not yet known. In light of that, BAC Local 1 WA/AK has worked with all the trustees of the Masonry Security Plan to adopt a new emergency self-pay option for participants who will lose coverage and for those newer members who didn't quite have enough hours reported to start coverage.

Earlier this week, Secretary-Treasurer Sanden along with our election committee verified and counted the ballots for the Constitution and By-Laws this Local will be operating under going forward. I am pleased to inform the membership that the Constitution has been accepted (95% voted approve), and additionally the new check-off dues structure was passed (91% voted approve). The copy of the constitution that was originally mailed out to everyone can now be for official reference.
